Continuing Education<\/h3>\n

In collaboration with Labgenvet,<\/strong> several training courses on dog and cat genetics are now offered by the Continuing Veterinary Education<\/strong> resource of the University of Montreal<\/strong>.\u00a0 These courses are designed to provide basic and practical information about dog and cat genetics for veterinarians, veterinary students, animal technicians, animal breeders, pet owners and indeed the general public.\u00a0 A modest fee is charged for taking a course and a certificate of completion is available.\u00a0 Importantly, the funds raised from the registration of t<\/span>hese courses will be used to support maintaining the www.Labgenvet.ca<\/a>\u00a0website. \u00a0Donations contribute to the hosting and development of the Labgenvet website.<\/p>\n

The Labgenvet website is an evidence-based source of information on animal genetics whose sole purpose is educational: \u201cFor the genetic improvement of our domestic animals\u201d<\/strong>.\u00a0 The website is offered free of charge and without advertising<\/strong>.\u00a0 To date, development and content of the website has been provided by volunteers.\u00a0 Maintaining the web site does however involve costs.\u00a0 If you use the Labgenvet website, if you think that the initiative is positive, register for a Continuing Education course.\u00a0 Make a donation.\u00a0 This is your resource.\u00a0 Help us keep the lights on at Labgenvet.<\/p>\n
